Wellness

Daily habits beyond food — build a task library, bundle tasks into programs, define tracking fields, and assign them to clients.

Nutrition is one lever. Wellness covers the rest: sleep, movement, meditation, hydration, mood — the daily habits that decide whether a meal plan actually works.

You build a library once, then assign from it. Three surfaces, three tabs under Wellness in the sidebar:

TabWhat it holds
TasksIndividual habits — Daily Meditation, 10k Steps, 2L Water.
ProgramsReusable bundles of tasks you assign in one click.
Tracking FieldsDaily metrics the client fills in at check‑in — Hours of sleep, Energy.

Everything is organised by five pillarsMind · Physical · Emotional · Social · Spiritual — which is what stops a client's plan from being five variations of "exercise more".

Tasks

Wellness task library

The task library. Filter by pillar with the tabs, or search by name. Click + New task to add one.

Basics

  • Title — what the client sees, e.g. Daily Meditation.
  • Description — a short explanation, also shown to the client.
  • Pillar — which of the five it belongs to.
  • Typecheckbox (did it / didn't) or numeric (a number to hit).

Target (numeric tasks only) — the value and its unit: 2.0 and L, or 10000 and steps, or 30 and min.

Default frequency — which days of the week it should run, or a times per week count. This is the default the assignment starts from; you can override it per client.

Appearance — an emoji or icon plus a colour, so a client's daily list is scannable rather than a wall of text.

Archive, don't delete. Archiving retires a task from new assignments while leaving every client's completion history intact.

Programs

Wellness programs

A program is a bundle of tasks — "Sleep Reset", "Beginner Movement" — that you assign in one click instead of ticking fifteen boxes per client.

Click + New program, name it, and add tasks from your library. Programs are grouped by pillar so you can see the balance of what you're prescribing at a glance.

This is the feature that makes wellness practical at any real client volume. Build the five programs you actually prescribe, and onboarding someone's habits becomes one action.

Tracking fields

Wellness tracking fields

Tasks ask did you do it. Tracking fields ask how was it — the daily metrics a client fills in at check‑in.

Click + New field and pick a type:

TypeUse it for
RatingA 1–5 or 1–10 scale — energy, mood, soreness.
NumberA measured value with a unit (hrs, glasses, kg) and an optional healthy min/max.
Yes / NoA simple flag.
TextFree text — a one‑line journal.
SelectA fixed set of options you define.

For a number field, the min/max are what turn a raw figure into a signal — set 7 and 9 on Hours of sleep and six hours reads as low rather than as a number you have to interpret every time.

Assigning to a client

Open the client → Wellness tab. Two routes:

  • Assign tasks — pick one or more tasks from the library, and adjust the frequency or target for this specific client. The default from the library is a starting point, not a cage.
  • Programs — assign a whole bundle at once. There's a link straight through to the Programs library if you need to build one first.

Assign tracking fields the same way, from the same tab.

Existing assignments are listed there too. Edit one to change its frequency or target as the client progresses, or end it when the habit's established and you want to free up their daily list.

What the client sees

In their portal under Wellness, clients get three tabs:

  • Today — the day's tasks to tick off and tracking fields to fill in, grouped by pillar with a progress ring.
  • History — a heatmap of what they've completed over time.
  • Insights — trends per tracking field, so they can see their own sleep or energy moving.

They also get a daily affirmation card — on their dashboard and on the Today tab. You can curate each client's deck from the staff side: write your own, pull from the library, or generate a set from their wellness profile.

Common workflows

"Set up habits for a new client"

  1. Wellness → Programs — check whether a program already covers it.
  2. Open the client → Wellness tab → assign the program.
  3. Add one or two tracking fields — sleep and energy are the usual pair.
  4. Adjust frequencies to something the client will actually hit. Under‑prescribing beats a list they ignore.

"Build the library from scratch"

  1. Tasks → add 8–12 habits you prescribe most, spread across the pillars.
  2. Programs → bundle them into the 3–5 programs you actually sell.
  3. Tracking Fields → add Hours of sleep (number, 7–9) and Energy (rating).

From then on, onboarding a client's habits is two clicks.

What's next

  • Client onboarding — the Wellness tab lives on the client's profile.
  • Courses — for teaching the why behind a habit.
  • Meal plans — the nutrition half of the same plan.
